Biography
JK is a model who got a spotlight in the Eurodance genre in the mid '90s together with the Italian producers Larry Pignagnoli and Davide Riva at Off Limits (the production team behind Whigfield).
Why the name JK? "We were looking for something short, easy to say and something that was catchy. JK it's easy for people to remember" – she explained in an interview.
JK was quickly signed to Off Limits and her first single "You Make Me Feel Good" topped the dance charts in Canada (#1 in the Canadian dance chart) and performed well in France, Italy and Germany.
In 1994 her third single "You and I" obtained a strong radio airplay in Europe as well as reached #1 in the Canadian dance chart and peaked # 3 in Israel.
In 1996, thanks to the success of "My radio" (#1 in the Canadian dance chart + TV appearances in France i.e. Dance Machine 9), JK was able to perform in Japan where the track reached the TOP10.
Some years after, two of JK's singles ("Make Me Feel" and "Hit My Heart") where successfully covered by Benassi Bros feat. Dhany.
After touring far and wide the world, JK took a rest from the stages to focus on her passions, but Covid has changed her point of view and she decided to come back on stages so far.
