Biography

Carine was born in San Paolo (Brazil) in 1982.

She's been singing since the age of three and then, when she was 15, Carine joined the "Family Soul", a gospel/black music group.

In 1999 she toured south Brazil with an orchestra and nine voices.

In 2003 she started to perform Popular Brazilian Music (PBM) in the most popular venues in San Paolo. The group was composed of a sax player, a pianist and Carine singing. Two years later she was invited to perform in a band that played a '70s and '80's repertoire. With this band Carine performed all over Brazil.

In 2007 she took part in one of the most important Brazilian contests arriving among the top four out of two thousand candidates.

In 2008 she moved to Italy, where she began to sing Popular Brazilian Music. Two years later, Carine recorded Ė together with Soncini (producer of "2 Times" by Ann Lee and "Tu es foutu" by In-Grid) Ė "7 Džas", a Latin-pop project. The first single extracted from "7 Džas" is "Semanas".
