Biography
Les Trashick duo was born from the collaboration between Marco Savaresi (musician/producer) and Nikky Wadd (dj) in 2010.
In 2000 they shortly worked together on some tracks/remixes in the ambient genre.
Years later, they met in a club and – after some vodka-martini – they decided to reestablish their collaboration.
Their musical background (elettroclash, electro-house and techno) and the artistic influence of 2 Many Djs, Girl Talk, Diplo and Switch, Cassetteboy, Crookers, Fatboy Slim and Chemical Brothers, make Les Trashick’s djset very active, funny, a collection of styles where people could dance and jump. By using the new technologies (like Macbook Pro, keyboards, Launchpad, Cotroller, iPhone and iPad), they chose to abandon cds and vinyls, in order to make LIVE the mashes-up that mark Les Trashick’s djset.
In 2010, Les Trashick played on the same stage with Crookers, Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Vitalic, Boys Noize, Dr. Lektroluv, Congorock, Tom Deluxx, Thiefschwarz, Chris Liebing, Steve Lawler, Gigi Barocco and many others.
In 2011 Les Trashick have become part of Flat Frog’s roster and they released “Olga” (Les Trashick vs D-Bag), “Geddown (taste my lipstick)” and “Polish up my trumpet”.
“EMO” is their latest single, born from the collaboration between Les Trashick and Edward F.
They did remixes for Power Francers, Useless Wooden Toys, Manu LJ and many others.
