Biography

The Power Francers, a.k.a Davide Di Martino (better known as Pacchiani), Antonio Pelusio (Goldentrash) and Caterina Di Sciascio (Katerfrancers), were born at the end of the 80's and approached music at a very early age.

After an initial phase exclusively in the rap/hip-hop field, the colourful trio moved towards an electro-French touch style, combining all of the influences in a single, high-energy power-rapelectro style that eludes classification.

Fully immersed in the power-rap-electro scene, they remixed the opening theme for the afternoon program on Radio Deejay, "Tropical Pizza". This highly acclaimed remix allows them to become regulars at Radio Deejay. Indeed, their remix was played every Friday, at the beginning and at the end of the program, and they perform live in the studios of the Radio. The following year they compose another theme for Tropical Pizza.

In April 2010, they are guests in "CNN da Strada", radio program aired by M2O and, one month after, Power Francers have signed with Flat Frog, they have become part of the label roster and recorded - together with D-Bag - the ep "Rissa", "Disco boy", "Pompo nelle casse" (#7 in the iTunes Dance Chart Italy) and "Good Luck Baby".

In December 2010, they filmed the videos of "Disco Boy" and "Pompo nelle casse"; both went well on YouTube and were broadcasted by DJTV. Moreover, the video of "Pompo nelle casse" was one of the most clicked Italian music video on YouTube in January 2011, together with Club Dogo's and Jovanotti's one.

In July of the same year, Power Francers were chosen as opening-acts for Ligabue's concert at Campovolo 2.0 : they performed in front of more than 100.000 people.

In September went out -on Flat Frog label- the single "Lei che lo vuole". Thanks to the video of this song, Katerfrancers was the artist of the week on MTV New Generation.

In the beginning of 2012, Katerfrancers featured on Ghemon's track "Qualcosa per te" (TOP 10 in the Italian iTunes Hip Hop & Rap Chart), while Power Francers collaborated with Club Dogo in "La fine del mondo" song.

After being nominated for MTV/TRL Awards, in the Best New Generation category, Power Francers opened the MTV's event in Florence (Italy), in front of 30.000 people.

In September 2012, Power Francers' first album went out on EMI Music and it quickly reached the TOP 20 in the Italian album selling chart. The release of the LP was anticipated by three singles "Mamma" (soundtack of the Italian TV program "Mammoni - chi vuole sposare mio figlio?"), "Issima" and "Stile".

The 2013 began with some great news: the track "Pompo nelle casse" got the Gold disc in Italy and Power Francers remixed the song "L'uomo piĆ¹ semplice" by italian pop/rock star Vasco Rossi.

In June of the same year, the track "Io vorrei" was released. As Power Francers said "it is an autobiographical song where we talk about how our life is changed in this period when music has become our occupation".

Then, they released "Dolce And Gabbana". Style is important for Power Francers and they dedicated a song to their 'obsession'. "D&G is a famous brand and it is synonym of 'made in Italy'. But - for us - is also the italian dream: believe in our roots and in our passions to export our music" - Power Francers said.

In 2014, thanks by a THISGASTHING idea, Power Francers shook the web once again with "Prendo Il Volo" video: they filmed a fake robbery and they put on the web - as anonymous - the different robbery's subjective. The videos got more than 800.000 views in a few days and multi POV to document it.

Then "Schiaccio Play" went out, a song where hip hop and electro merges with the 20's sound. The video is a freak show, with clown, drag queen and the bearded lady. This is Power Francers' circus!

"Sabato Sera" is Power Francers' new single!

Power Francers' never-ending tour has reached the most important clubs and venues in Italy, Switzerland, Croatia and Russia.
