Biography
Favretto was born in the Italian alpine town of Bolzano in 1977. He started djing at the age of 16 and now he regularly plays his sets in key clubs in Italy , Austria, Monte Carlo, St. Moritz, Moscow, Santo Domingo and at Armani Bar in Hong Kong. He also works as a dj-producer with OFF LIMITS.
Favretto produced "Put them up" (Edun), a track that reached #2 in the billboard's Hot Dance Airplay chart (US) and was one of the most aired tracks from the American dance radios in 2007. "Put them up" was also supported by Judge Jules on his program on BBC Radio 1 (UK) and it entered the global dance traxx chart (by m.i.s.) as one of the most danced tracks in the world.
In 2007 he produced "People of the Night": the track entered the Radios Charts in France, Portugal, Poland, Turkey and South America. “People of the Night” was also used in the Brama Ice Beer commercial.
As a remixer, Favretto produced "Panama" (by Travel Agency feat. Sheu); his remix was playlisted by Eddie Thoneick, Erick Morillo and Axwell.
Favretto collaborates with Jenny B, Naan, Dhany & Sandy (from Benassi Bros), Whigfield, In-Grid, Channing and Ann Lee.
Favretto has recently remixed Whigfield's single “Right in the Night” by Whigfield, “Why” and "Love Shine" (by Sam Project – this is a project by Samuele Sartini. A few days after the release, the single hit the vynil italian chart, reaching #1), “To be Free” by Channing, "Call me" and "Easy Lady" by Spagna.
Latest Favretto's productions included “What’s your name?” (supported by many American and European radios), “Get out of my mind” featuring the Benassi Bros’ vocalist Sandy Chambers (“Get out of my Mind” reached #1 on Junodownload and it got strong support by the major Italian radios) and "I get the feeling" by Favretto ft. Ann Lee.
In 2010 went out Sandy Chambers' track "Cloud n°9" (produced by Favretto) and Favretto's single "Circus", remixed by Jean Claude Ades.
